I'm a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in convergence journalism emerging media. That's a fancy way of saying I create digital-based content. I have gained skills in creating social media content, including photography and video.

 

I began my career in journalism in 2021 as a producer in residence in Buffalo, NY for TEGNA at WGRZ-TV. By 2022, I was promoted to a digital content producer. There, I not only sharpened my storytelling skills while on deadline, I managed teams of reporters and photographers, mentored interns, and trained new employees.

Then in the fall of 2023 I went to Chicago to work as a social media editor at WBBM Newsradio. There I was responsible for the launch of a station TikTok account. I worked with staff to outline our brand and voice. From then forward, I was responsible for producing content for the platform and guiding other producers with their content.
